BRIGHTON INTOX EXTRAVAGANZA
Friday Night Spectacular

About this event

This special extended edition proffers 5 eclectic acts, plus live visuals from VJ CHRIS ESSEX – rendering this an audio-visual spectacular…

Lovely live leftfield music will leap from…

HADDOW

Improvised exploration of home made instruments and found sounds by Robert Shuttleworth. The first performer to play Brighton Intox twice (owing to blowing every bugger away and the fact that each Haddow performance is utterly disparate): behold as Haddow constructs his instrument from whatever he finds lying around…and then plays it. Unique.

THE FAVERSHAM MOTORWAY INTERSECTION ENTHUSIASTS CLUB

A multimedia rhythm band rooted in repetition, drawing from the rhythms of motorway travel and dance music, finding a shared pulse between mechanical monotony and the endless flow of traffic.

LEWIS CLAY

Generative ambient and IDM from an emerging star of the Brighton electronic scene.

ELEKTRYZA

Extraordinary London-based free improv trio marrying drums, bass and guitar – alongside occasional flute and piano.

CHIBSTERR

Bojan ‘Chibsterr’ Nikolic, is a Sarajevo-born artist whose work spans photography and harsh noise, both grounded in themes of memory, perception, and the fractured nature of experience.

Using field recordings, distortion, samples, crude sequencing and improvised textures, he treats harsh noise as a form of anti-music where structure collapses, melody disintegrates, and sound becomes a raw, unfiltered expression of the everyday. This is where music goes to die, and something else begins: a space of rupture, reflection, and unresolved tension…

Plus VJ CHRIS ESSEX, with us since the beginning for London Intox Extravaganza. Live, improvised visuals.

£5 on the door or Evenbrite, though extra donations are welcome to support our heroic travelling performers…

Intox Extravaganza is a mechanism for musical electicism!
